I walked past the cemetery, and fortunately I was nearing the completion of my exercise, allowing me to dally and take some photos.

Completed my Wednesday strength training routine.

Did my meditation and stretching.

In the house to shower shave and dress for lunch. Drove to Canton....Traffic was ridiculously congested. Yes...but only 7 minutes! Late that is.

On to the bookstore.

Finish the blog to post today.

Lastly for today,
What if...
you were stranded on an island with one possession; what would it be and why?

Is the island cold? What sort of shelter is available? Am I alone? What's growing on the island? Is there good fishing? I need some details before I freeze to death listening to music or other such foolishness.

That sounds like a perfect kind of day.

One possession? I guess I can't take my sweetie, since he is not a possession. But I'd want him there with me.

Such fun to get glimpses into your day. Lovely photos.

One possession? That's tough. I'll get back to you. Maybe a mirror to send sun signals. Maybe a flashligh because I don't like the dark. Maybe a dictionary because it would provide many long months (years) of learning.

Gosh, much to think about. Thanks.

You got up at 5:30 a.m. and you call that sleeping in by 2 hours???? Sheesh! lol It's no wonder you stay such in shape with everything you do in a day!! I just looked at the picture of the gym and felt pooped out! lol Hmmmm stranded on an island and only allowed one possession....would have to be a survival book titled "How to survive on an island with only a survival book"!!!! hehe

Beautiful post. I'm such a visual person that I love it when people let me see what they're seeing.

Only one possession? Running shoes. Running is my favorite drug.

Sounds lijke a nice relaxing day - the bookstore looks really good, I can spend hours in places like that. My one thing? An enormous thick pad of lined A4 paper - I already happen to have a pencil in my pocket:) I could write stories, poems, keep a journal - endless amusement in between trying to start a fire with two sticks and building a shelter out of dead branches and palm leaves - or whatever sort of greenery the island has!

Sounds like a great productive day! (I'm still at bottle number 2. :) If I were stranded with only one thing, I would hope to have my WITS about me - to survive. And the luxury would be paper and a pen, to write down the experiences and my thoughts (to keep from going a bit mad with all that isolation).

Hi Rel, thank you for your comments, especially about how to deal with my co-worker. It's very tempting...lol!

Sounds like you had a lovely day. I start off my day with a walk too, now that it's light, we can go at 5.30am and it's so lovely at that time of the morning. The world's your own.

As for one thing to be stranded on an island with? A boat, naturally, I don't want to stay there!

Love & hugs

Robyn xoxo

I love the picture of the trees. Being in florida all I ever see is green and then shades of brown as the cld kills the grass but our trees never change like this.

One posession....my laptop. :o)
