My mom died of a stroke at 43, so I've always been way too aware of my own mortality. I run as much as I can, I try to eat well and I don't smoke. I do love sugar and salt - I think those are my two worse vices...Oh yeah, I don't date and that seems to be the healthiest thing I've done in a long time.
I wish I took care of myself as well as you do Rel but I'm afraid I'm a little lax in that department. I know I don't excersice enough or eat healthy enough so hopefully I'll set my mind to doing better where that is concerned! Have a wonderful weekend my friend!! Please say hi to D for me:-)
Just keep eating those vegies and fruit, meat, chicken and fish Remiman...washed down with a little red wine! Everything in moderation, the unknown 'they' say! Sometimes I go over the 'moderation' limits...but, after all, I'm only human! ;)
Well, I eat healthily and try to exercise more (having trouble lately, because I'm still in holiday mode!).
I'm not a salt fan, love chicken, fish, fruit and veg - and also love desserts, chocolate, etc! Soooo, it's a matter of balance, as Lee says and that's where my problem could be, lol!
Not as much as I should! I do walk every day and try to follow my mother's maxim of 'a sensible mixed diet'. We've always had cooked from scratch meals and I use organic meat and veg/fruit so not much in the way of chemicals and preservatives. Mostly I'm relying on genes -both grandfathers made it past 80, my dad to 78 and my mum to 88. I've never smoked nor do I drink a great deal - I'm afraid I overdose on chocolate and sweet things though:( Once again yours seems to be the only blog I can comment on - you must have some special magic!
I'm pretty good about what I eat and I take vitamin supplements. And of course, red wine! That salad looks delicious! My weakness is cookies - must stay away from those!

I like the monitor you have there btw
I am not near as disciplined as you Rel...that salad looks so good, I could crunch right into it. I commend you on taking such good care of your body.
