Strength training day.

It's -9°F. this AM...Brrrrrrr.

J. (my son) and K. are in Texas on vacation. While visiting his bro in Corpus he called to say hey, and tell us that the temp yesterday in south Texas was 30°F..

The weather service says cold and sunny. Sunny is good. I'm on call so I may only get to see the sun through the window. It still lifts the spirits to see the sun, and I won't have to brave the cold.

That photo, Rel, looks very supernatural! Is it you and are you real? (I seem to remember asking that once before...)

-9F is a bit much for lifting weights. Still, it's been over 100F here for several days recently, which is just as bad.

I ran in the snow, but I don't run in the below zero temps. Walking to work and back is bad enough.

My friend who lives in Austin, sent me pictures of the "snow" they got there. Hilarious.

It's cold down here too. I have to work outside year round, that's why I get sick this time of year.

See you tomorrow for PT. :)

Cold enough here this morning to freeze the water that has leaked into my car. I hate winter, I really need a beach.

Now I know we are in summer. Not that the grey skies above are helping to convince me ... but your descriptions and lovely piccies prove to me that in comaparison, it's summer all right - no snow-shovelling for me this week.
