Week #43

Short and Sweet (One Line Haiku)

Winter floes down river toward spring.

Redwing's home awaits.

Surging, rushing, washing time away.

Hi Rel,

I love the play on words in the first haiku. I laughed and squealed.

The last photo and line remind me of how my life feels right now...like everything is moving so quickly and the time is rushing by as fast as the water across those rocks.
Loved this post.
Hope all is well.

I love these 'short and sweet' haikus - of course my favourite is the very clever 'winter floes' one!

With the first haiku, it seems we were thinking along the same lines, but the last one got me--time rushes by so powerfully!

The images and the words compliment each other personally. The first one I especially like. There is movement and change and power. Great.

I love that river shot, reminds me of upcountry Maine. The idea of the river heading toward spring is just right.

Hi Rel, how are you? Great haikus and fabulous photos.

Thanks for your comments on my posts...I've been very slack on my reading of posts.

Have a good rest of the week.

Cheers and take care.
