I've adopted a shameless lion and am now

My lion's name is: Zaccharias

Zaccharias is a scholarly lion_____
Seeking, peeking behind
The scenes, through the lens
Curious like his namesake, and his
Father before him.
For Zaccharias, information
Is like meat
For other lions.
His mane reflects the
Microscopic images he
Finds and records.
You can not hide
Under the microscope.

This sounds like a really fun and original group for a writer to join, I like that it accepts prose as well as poetry. I had a peek at a couple of the other lions, really liked the one belonging to A Wanderer in Paris. Apparently it snuggles on the sofa! Does Zacharias do this as well? :):)

I like the way you've personalised the lion to fit your own family history and lifestyle. Intriguing idea, a scholarly or literary lion!

This is my favorite line:
"For Zaccharias, information
Is like meat
For other lions."

You seem to have captured his essence.

It was interesting to check out the whole "Shameless Lions" group blog. A fascinating and inspiring project.

Hi, would you please pass this note along to Zaccharias? I invite him to come visit me on my new blog, Literary Lion of Lyon. He would probably recognize me from the blog’s title, but tell him Roary sent the invitation. Thanks.

Zacch? Psst, are you here? Oh, there you are. So your human is of average intelligence, huh? Yes, I realize you mean average HUMAN intelligence, since even the best of them fall below our elegant selves. Yes, I do believe we collaborated on a couple of literary endeavors some time back. Can't stay, but wanted to say thanks for coming by earlier. See you at the next meeting of the pride.

Roary ^..^

[Dang! Forgot to turn off Bonnie's identity thing, but you know who really visited. R]
