The Experiment # 101

" Some of this with that
Mixed together, you get...
An experiment"

At the beginning of every class, right after the bell. Miss Stevenson would recite her little ditty.

"Miss Stevenson, is Frankenstein the result of an experiment?" Asked Henry.

"Oh Henry, well yes, technically Frankenstein was the outcome of an experiment, but it was a story of fiction, not of scientiic experiments such as we do here."

Henry persists, "Miss Stevenson, when we read Shelly's book in Mrs. Victor's English class, it sure seemed realistic."

" Henry Jekyll, your imagination will be the end of you!" said the exasperated Miss Stevenson.

"We'll see about that," thought Henry to himself.

Greeting,

I am really sorry with Frankeinstein. He's being created, and then abandoned. Human mistake. T.T

Now I see why you liked that I mentioned Frankenstein - one of my fave books of all time!! You know she was 18/19 when she wrote that (Shelley)?? This post has got to be one of my absolute faves this week!! It is brilliant and clever!!! I think you should keep going and bring in some more fave characters ---maybe a young Bram Stroker! Loved It!

Ooooh love the twist of having the young student end up being Jekyll!! Funny you should mention Frankenstein...a friend of mine were talking about that not long ago. To think it was written as just a story and yet here we are today having body parts replaced from dead people!! xox
