Photo by Willow

The river is calm; not a ripple to be seen.
The flag hangs heavy
From yonder pole.
In the far distance
The rumble of
Water filling
His watering can.
There’s a storm abrewin’.
Gunmetal gray
Sieve drizzles
Drops
To pock the placid surface.
Drip, drip, drip
Drip. Drip, drip, drip, drip
On the metal roof;
Drop, drop, drop
To the stone landing below.
His garden watered,
The river restored;
The tap is closed.
All is plumb.

Wonderful textures here. I'm taking aways a satisfied, peaceful feeling that all is plumb. A very plumb plumb.

(Mr. Linky is under the weather this morning. I have a service ticket open. Hope all is resolved later today.)

'Sieve drizzles,' and 'All is plumb.' fab combos and feeling, amazingly fat and juicy, could eat on this a while. great flow and like the composition, really fits with the piece.

A Tribute to Theatre
The Murugan Theatre. It is one of the theatres in Thiruthangal, a small town near the famous industrial town of Sivakasi in Tamil Nadu. The small town had three theatres in those days (1980s). Chinnaknai Theatre was in the northern corner of the town and Balaji Talkies was at the other end, in the southern corner
