Appearances are a misrepresentation
     of the truth,
if not outright,
     a lie.
To not know a truth
     is one thing.
presenting facts differently,
     a falsehood.
Adage has it:
     A leopard can't change its spots
Inveterate liars are doomed
     then
to live a lie;
his only truth being his birth
     and death.

His life is but a
     sham,
without substance,
     immutable?

     But,
You say;
what if he had a child?
     Is that not a truth?

A child claimed is a legacy
     of legitimacy.
