lessons to follow. Dog-eared, bookmarked.
Magazines read and unread, reread.
Brass holder to keep pages open.
Candle lantern, crossword calendar
Puzzle-- Note calendar
Moleskins, Kindle, scattered reminders;
grocery list, todo, opening lines.
Pens; fancy, plain. #2 pencils
Coasters, place mat, assorted bill receipts.
Cough drops and crumbs;
Crumbs of last night's repast.

I like this a lot, it feels like much more than a list and works well as a poem.
That sounds like my place!
...and no room for plate or eating utensils. What would you need those for when God gave you fingers!
