Gongoozler

Sleeping, waiting, waiting.
Patience curled in a ball
Like a fuzzy catapillar.
Warm shades of brown,
rust.....darker.
Peeking out; just checking
Don't want to be bamboozled.

Finding the savory sunshine
Where ever it falls, following
From space to space, opening
Opening, soaking in old Sol's rays.

The internal alarm slowly aware;
Hum, rolling, clicking
Opening, closing. "I'm home."
Up, stretch, down--- walk
Touching, scratching, rubbing.
Pure unadulterated love.
